Dave Cyr







CEO

As CEO, Dave Cyr leads the Parrish team. With 30+ years of experience and recognition as an industry leader, Dave has been instrumental in building the firm to what it is today. It is his dedication, motivation and knowledge of the industry that enabled him to found Parrish Construction Group in Perry in 1995.  Dave has led the Parrish team in implementation and construction of numerous successful projects throughout the Georgia community.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Dave's studies in the area of building construction and over 20 years of experience in the industry, have prepared him for the day to day responsibilities as President. His master planning, preconstruction and construction skills make him a vital part of the communication among stakeholders on Parrish projects. His technical knowledge coupled with his common sense approach to construction are an effective combination to keep programs and projects on track through all phases of the process.

Dave's support system at home includes his wife Mary and two sons, Nathan and Adam. During his off time you can usually find him spectating a sporting event, fishing or doing other outdoor activities. He participates as a Lay Leader at Perry United Methodist Church, as well as an active member in many other civic, charitable and economic development organizations in and around the Perry community.

Dave's unique understanding of the market, leadership ability, technical knowledge, common sense approach and commitment to the community ensures that Parrish continues to develop long-lasting, productive working relationships.

Rodney Smith







President

President Rodney Smith is responsible for Operations at Parrish Construction Group.  His first-hand experience working at construction sites, overseeing the build process through project management, and managing the company’s business development endeavors have, over the years, provided him with a thorough understanding of construction management.  These include the challenges involved in constructing projects on time and within budget – areas that Parrish Construction Group excels, and holds a very favorable track record with clients.  Rodney also understands that premier construction management companies deliver on client promises – something that Parrish prides itself on.

With Rodney’s high-energy style and vigor for creative problem solving, he excels in bringing people together by challenging them to be their best.  Never taking no for an answer, and always considering fresh ideas and innovation, he demands excellence in each project.  Rodney is a source of advice both within the team he manages, and clients he supports because of his ability to break down complex issues, and present them in no-nonsense terms.

Rodney is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, with a B.S. in Construction Management, and currently serves on the Construction Industry Advisory Board for the University. He is active in both community and industry – currently holding positions with the City of Perry Board of Building Appeals and Adjustments, Perry Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Salvation Army of Central Georgia, and Young Leaders for Associated General Contractors (AGC) Georgia. Rodney is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Perry, a Rotarian, and alumnus of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Charlie Griffis







Senior Vice President


Senior Vice President Charlie Griffis joined Parrish Construction Group in 2005 as an Assistant Project Manager and has also served as an estimator before being promoted to Director of Preconstruction Services in 2007. As Director of Preconstruction he assumed responsibility for all estimating, scheduling, coordination and preconstruction services. Griffis has been instrumental in the development of Parrish Construction Group's latest service offering of Facility Planning Services and proprietary software PFIT, a facility management tool. In 2010 he was promoted to Vice President and in 2012 he became an equity partner in the closely-held business. During his tenure as Vice President, Charlie has been an instrumental part of the company's most dynamic period of growth since its inception in 1995.

 Charlie is a 2002 Graduate of Auburn University with a BS in Business and received an MBA from Mercer University in 2006. He is active in both community and industry as a member of the 2010 Leadership Macon class and now serving on the Board of Directors.  He's also a member of the National Associated General Contractors Project Delivery Committee and a Deacon for Perry Presbyterian Church.

Jim Fallon Sr., LEED AP











Vice President, North Georgia

Vice President Jim Fallon is an integral part of the Parrish Leadership Team.  Fallon's background includes more than 33 years of industry experience including 11 years of service with Parrish. Fallon joined Parrish in 2004 as a Senior Project Manager and has successfully managed multiple projects and client relationships. In his role as Executive Director of Parrish's Roswell, Georgia office since 2013, Fallon has been instrumental in the effort to grow Parrish's recognition and market share in both Atlanta and North Georgia. In his new role as Vice President, Fallon will remain as the company's business unit leader for its North Georgia operations and will build on the momentum his team has gained by providing outstanding construction services to Parrish's foundation clients in Atlanta and North Georgia while also striving to expand into new markets. According to company President Dave Cyr, "Having Jim leading our efforts in North Georgia has been a great asset for our company. His experience as a business owner prior to joining our team coupled with his leadership skills and his enthusiasm will continue to be the catalyst for Parrish's regional growth and success for many years to come".

He is an active member of the community and industry.  A 1996 graduate of Leadership Sumter, Jim also served as President of the Americus Kiwanis Club from 2003 to 2004.  He is an active member of the USGBC, involved in the development of the Central Georgia Region Chapter and served as Treasurer 2009-2012.

John Rood












Executive Director, North Georgia

John Rood brings considerable construction expertise to the Parrish organization. As Director for the North Georgia Operations, John provides sales and construction management services for clients across North Georgia. With a background in Educational, Commercial Office, Financial, Healthcare, Municipal and Religious projects, John brings a strong background to the Parrish family. John has worked diligently delivering exceptional results and continuing the excellent reputation Parrish has earned throughout Georgia.

John is a licensed General Contractor and graduate of Auburn University with a BS in Building Science.
